Happy People

Christian Franz

"This week helped me a lot to get my stress under control. It showed me different ways to reduce stress. I was able to think a lot and didn't let myself be distracted by everything (cell phone, TV, etc.) as I usually do in everyday life.
The week also showed me what is possible when you have the right mindset.
It was very nice to be surrounded by people who have a goal. The location, the activities and the people made it unforgettable for me.

I am grateful for everything I was able to experience during this week."

Maximilian Schnelle

"A week out of the daily grind,

into the cold,

looking inward and outward, together with great people, close to nature,

testing your limits,

setting your own goals, reflecting on yourself,

in a beautiful place,

with great food,

creating awareness through breathing,

fellow human beings

and the cold."

Miguel Sanchez

"As I am here, lying down in the seminar room, writing this, I can only feel gratefulness and joy for this amazing week. It is fair to say that this has been one of the coolest experiences in my short life.

I came to the Camp a bit uncertain and afraid, but I leave happy and completely satisfied. Endlich Zeit!

Now it's time to carry on with the fire sparked during these days. Love melts the ice!"

Moritz Dehnert

"I started the week with an open mind and without any specific expectations, but with the intention to take away as much as possible.
In this respect, the Camp fulfilled all expectations.

There was a lot of new and positive input. The planning of the individual days was great and also the entire group made it a very positive experience from which I take a lot of energy and positive experiences.

The "Calm Mornings" and the reduced media time really did me good and helped to start the days calm and stress-free. Highlights for me were definitely the hike up the Pfänder, the ice bath with the group and the last full day.

Thank you for this amazing week! I am really grateful that I was able to participate and get to know you."

Do I need prior experience with ice-bathing or the Wim Hof Method to join the Camp?

No you don't. However, it is recommended to start with practicing cold showers the month before the Camp is happening. But don't worry, we will have a Zoom call four to six weeks before the event where we discuss all details.

What kind of clothing and gear should I bring for the Camp?

For the hike you need a little bit of special equipment called crampons. But more about that in the Zoom call where you will also receive a detailed packing list beforehand, so you are prepared accordingly.

Is there a minimum or maximum age requirement for the Camp?

You need to be over 18 years old to participate and the maximum age of the Camp is 50 years old.

Will there be vegan or vegetarian options?

Yes, sure! Our cook will take care of you and will consider your personal nutritional preferences.

How physically demanding are the activities during the Camp?

The ice-bathing is physically demanding on your central nervous system and your body. The hike will be physically demanding as well. A basic fitness level and a healthy body will be good prerequisites.

Will there be any downtime or free time during the Camp?

Yes, sure! There is plenty of free time in between our daily program where you have time to read, to nap, to go for a walk or to connect with other participants. The ice-bathing is a stressor, so off-time is much needed.

Winter Camps

Embrace the chill, transform your will - join our ice-bathing Winter Camps!

Winter Camps

The Winter Camp's are heavily influenced by the Wim Hof Method. You will learn about the pillars of the Wim Hof method and experience the incredible effects on your body! We will dive deep into breathing methods, learn about the cold and related body mechanisms, setting a proper mindset and taking care of your body.

Our days are filled with light movement, Wim Hof breathing and other breathing patterns, as well as a lot of time to connect with other participants and enjoying the calm of the Winter season.

Do not worry, together we will prepare you mentally & physically to bathe in ice-cold water, to walk lightly clothed through the snow and also to climb a mountain!
The legendary climb to the Pfänder (1064m) is part of this Winter trip. An intense experience of a very special kind.

We are staying on an old farm in southern Germany near the city of Wangen in the beautiful Allgäu region. The farm has lovely shared bedrooms of two to three people, a big & cozy kitchen, as well as plenty of space for our breathing and reflection sessions. Within walking distance there is also an ice-cold river, which is amazingly beautiful!

Prices for the Winter Camp include two meals (brunch & dinner) as well as drinks and snacks. There will be no alcohol - but coffee, tea & warm cocoa. We serve whole foods from mostly organic and regional sources and we have a cook on site, who will take into account any allergies and are looking forward to your active support in the prepraration of  brunch and dinner. Plenty of snacks will be available throughout the day. So your mind, soul & body will be satisfied!

Travel Details

The prices quoted include food and drinks. Your arrival and departure is not included. I will be happy to help you organize carpools. If you want to travel by train, please go to Wangen or Hergatz, where a group member can pick you up. In exceptional cases I can also pick you up from the train station. The Winter Camps have a maximum number of participants of 8-10 people to ensure high quality and personal safe space.
